An update after a long time of absence......

i'm back after a long time of absence..lazy to blog lah..=p

Well..now i'm back in Brisbane..actually been back for afew days already..it's Fri now..was back on Mon..didn't want to come back wan..but no choice =x i still have to complete my degree..sighz..another 3 years more to go..including this year..3 years..coz i'm exercising faith..that i'll be able to do my honours..anywho..been un-packing and un-packing..still haven't decorated my room though..college doesn't allow us to use blu-tack on the walls anymore *grrr*..and thank God for Rayson..who came by to help Shin Yee & I bring our heavy stuff up from the basement into our rooms..thanks Rayson!!

besides un-packing, i've also been to uni..did all my banking stuff, buying of calling card & recharging of hp credit..also went for market day on Wed..helped at the CCM (Campus Christian Movement) desk the whole time..since i'm part of the committee..didn't have time to walk around..but my friends managed to get the uni's diary from us! The diary's really nice this year..last year's was the Wizard of Oz theme..this year's different..the front cover has pics of different kinds of slippers..all Aussie style..quite nice..

Went for outreach event yesterday..was raining at first..but we still continued by faith, and God really did drive the rain clouds away for us!! Hee..well i went to the arts fac to ask some questions about my studies before i went to meet the rest outside the travel agency..had breakfast in the main cafeteria before starting..was a great time of helping pple out..2 amazing incidents..Shin Yee & I were paired together..and we were walking towards the student centre..then it started to rain..the main bus stop is just in front of the student centre..so we were able to see which students needed shelter from the bus stop to the student centre (we had umbrellas with us)..then we saw this girl get off a bus with 1 huge luggage, 1 smaller luggage, a laptop bag and a backpack..wah..power..she actually took a train and bus back to uni from the airport..and she was carrying all this stuff alone!! She waitied at the bus stop till the rain wasn't that heavy, and started trudging to her destination..Shin Yee & I started running after her..and we helped her to bring her stuff back to her Emmanuel College..she was really adamant at first..didn't want us to help..but then we insisted..and told her we're out to help pple that day..so she relented..we talked along the way..and found out she's from Taiwan/NZ..and she's actually been in Brisbane for a year already..but then doesn't know alot of pple..so we invited her to our dinner and games gathering at Joey, Vela & Veon's place tonight..also told her that there's another girl from our group who's from Taiwan/NZ..and she was so excited!! We're praying that she'll join us tonight..

Another incident..Shin Yee & I were actually talking to Chung and Helen..then Chung suddenly pointed out a girl dressed in pink to us, and suggested we talk to her..we did..and found out that it's her first time in Aust..and was actually a Christian..we told her we were from CCM..and were going around helping new students settle in etc..and she asked us questions about where to get advise for her studies..and she seems interested in joining our dinner and games gathering..she even said she might bring her friends along..praise God!!! We're praying that she'll join us tonight too..hee..

Yep so that's all i guess..nothing much to do today..except for the dinner and games gathering tonight..oh and hopefully i can do my laundry..coz it's been raining yesterday..
